    ELECTRIC CONTROL KIT FOR BALL VALVE. The Control Kit makes it possible to select ball valves outlets remotely and automatically without direct manual intervention on the plant. Polmac produces 12 volt direct current electrical drives for ball valves of various dimensions and characteristics (3-6 way for 1’’ ¼ to 2’’ ½ valves) with 2 different set-ups for a wide range of requirements and characteristics for the plant to be driven: vertical motor-drive with epicyclical reduction gear, horizontal motor-drive with worm-screw reduction gear. For the horizontally motorized version a disengagement kit is available (to be ordered separately) to manually drive the valve if necessary. 24 Vcc. Motorizations against demand.

    The kit can be installed on any model of ball valves and allows the user to excite, manually moving the lever, the microswitch card measuring the position of the ball, so that to forward it to a remote visual electronic system, properly connected to the connectors given as an equipment. It can be used in any application where it is not possible to motorise the ball valve but is necessary to know its position at distance. The microswitch card can be powered at 12 Vcc. and 24 Vcc., 5A maximum. The microswitch card is located inside an aluminium structure, carefully protected.

    The electrohydraulic motor drive system applicable to all the 5-way (4 outlets) and 6-way (5 outlets) ball valves allows reaching any position using a hydraulic feed with a minimum pressure of 40 bar. The solenoid valve integrated in the system is connected to a 12VDC control which displays the ball position. There are three types of sensor to determine the position: microswitches, reed sensors and sensors for the radio frequency control.
